Terms of Service

These terms govern every order placed with Magnifying Glass Solutions LLC ("we," "us"). By sending us a document or paying for a service, you agree to them. They're written to be read, not skimmed — the short version is: we edit your words, you keep full ownership and full responsibility for them, and if we get something wrong we'll fix it.

1. Editorial services only

Our work is limited to mechanical and editorial improvements: spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax, phrasing, layout styling, typography, transcript clean-up, and citation formatting against published style guides. We do not evaluate, certify, or advise on the substance, accuracy, enforceability, or fitness of any document. If your document has legal, financial, or tax consequences, have it reviewed by a licensed professional before you rely on it.

2. Ordering and delivery

You place an order by emailing us your document and naming the service or package you want. We confirm the price and delivery time by reply before any work begins; no work starts, and nothing is owed, until you accept that confirmation. Turnaround times are measured from our confirmation, not from your first email.

Edited documents are returned by email with tracked changes (or a marked-up PDF), so every correction is visible to you.

3. Word counts, page counts, and pricing

Listed prices apply up to the word, page, reference, or audio-length cap shown for each service. Documents over a cap are not refused — we quote them individually, as a flat price, before starting. The price we confirm in writing for your order is the price you pay; there are no surprise adjustments after delivery.

4. Revisions

Every order includes one round of follow-up fixes at no charge, covering anything within the original scope of the service you purchased. Requests that expand the scope — new text, additional pages, a deeper level of edit — are quoted as a new order.

5. Your responsibilities

You confirm that you have the right to share any document you send us, and that it doesn't contain material you're not permitted to distribute. You are responsible for reviewing the edited document before using it, and for its final content, accuracy, and validity wherever you publish or submit it.

6. Confidentiality

Your documents are read only by the editor working on your order. We do not share, publish, resell, or reuse client documents, and we do not use them to train any software. On request, we delete your files from our working storage after delivery. See the Privacy Policy for full details.

7. Ownership

Your document is yours before, during, and after our work on it. We claim no rights in your content or in the edited result. Any editorial suggestions we make become part of your document, free of any claim by us, once the order is paid.

8. Payment and refunds

Payment is due when you accept our confirmation, before editing begins, through the payment method named in that confirmation. If we miss a confirmed delivery time, or the edit doesn't do what the service description says, tell us within 7 days of delivery and we will re-edit the document or refund the order — your choice.

9. Accounts

Client accounts are not yet available; every service currently runs through email, and nothing on this site requires registration. When accounts launch, keeping your login credentials secure will be your responsibility, and these terms will apply to orders placed through an account exactly as they do to orders placed by email.

10. Limitation of liability

Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for consequences arising from the use, submission, or publication of a document after delivery, including any outcome that depends on the document's substance rather than its spelling, grammar, or formatting.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. The terms in force when you place an order are the ones that apply to it.
